Our first task:

Today, Democrats will be sworn into our new House majority.

After we reopen the government, our next act must be to pass strong new voter protection laws.

Our last several elections have been marred by anti-democratic measures, voter intimidation, and suppression. This slew of anti-democratic measures across the country has undermined Americans' ability to vote.

Here's what must happen:

  • Improve access to polling places and increase ballot security.

  • Establish national automatic voter registration.

  • Put an end to partisan gerrymandering.

  • Restore key provisions of the Voting Rights Act.

Tell Congress: Strengthen our democracy. Pass voter protection laws!
