Shays: “The Fundamentals of Our Economy Are Strong”

This morning on WNYC radio with Brian Lehrer, Chris Shays once again showed how out of touch he is on the economy:

LEHRER: Let me play you another clip of Senator Obama from his acceptance speech, this is a short one, on the economy.

OBAMA: "He said that our economy has made great progress under this President. He said that the fundamentals of the economy are strong."

LEHRER: Referring to John McCain, of course. Do you agree with Senator McCain on that?

SHAYS: The fundamentals of our economy are strong...
